Village hall
Restored 1908 village hall with a sprung maple floor
A village assembly hall built in 1908 and restored in 2021. The sprung maple dance floor is original and was lifted, cleaned and relaid during the work.
The hall seats 120 at round tables or 200 in rows. A smaller committee room off the entrance takes 30 and is often used for children during the meal.
This is the most affordable room in the valley for its size, and it is run by a community trust rather than a commercial operator, so the hire fee goes back into the building.
Everything is bring-your-own, including alcohol. There is no corkage.
