Deconsecrated chapel with a barrel roof and a gallery
A chapel of 1871, deconsecrated in 1994 and in use as an events room since. The barrel roof and the gallery are intact; the pews are long gone.
The floor seats 130 and the gallery holds a further 40, which works well for a ceremony where extra guests can watch from above.
Acoustics are live, which is glorious for a string quartet and difficult for speeches — we keep a small PA on site and include it in the fee.
Catering open, no bar licence of our own, so alcohol runs through your caterer's TEN.
