Victorian castle rooms with original stained glass and a conservatory
The state rooms of a Victorian mill-owner's castle, kept much as they were built in 1878. The great hall has its original Powell stained glass along the north wall.
The hall seats 120. The adjoining conservatory adds a further 60 covers and is where most clients serve drinks and canapes before dinner.
Ceremonies take place in the oak room, which is licensed for 100. There is level access throughout the ground floor and a lift to the first-floor suites.
Parking is on the lower terrace, roughly two minutes' walk from the entrance.
