Glenmoriston House

A privately owned Georgian house let on an exclusive-use basis, which means the whole estate is yours for the duration of your booking. Nobody else checks in.

Twenty-two bedrooms sleep 44. The drawing room and library take 80 for a ceremony; the dining hall seats 90. For larger numbers we put a marquee on the south lawn, which has a hard standing and its own power supply.

The estate runs to 140 acres of woodland with a private stretch of river. Guests regularly use the grounds for shooting, fishing and walking as part of a two- or three-day stay.

Our head chef cooks everything on site and we do not permit external caterers. Menus are built around what the estate and the local coast produce that week.
